Tall Ships and small towns on Virginia’s easy-to- reach Eastern Shore – nowhere will you find a happier, more family-friendly festival where you can relax, stroll, and enjoy a multitude of exciting activities.
Have fun, but use good judgement around the water. Parents are cautioned that access to the ships is via open docks over deep water. Hold children’s hands at all times!
We’ve planned lots of fun, FREE things for you and your family to do: get up close and personal with tall ship sailors in authentic 1812-era uniforms; tour the ships, haul a yard, visit an Elizabethan-era court with costumed re-enactors celebrating the excitement and romance of days of olde; ride ponies, make and sail a model ship, watch a pirate perform, get faces painted, see a fascinating display of live hawks, eagles and owls, and so much more!
